Roderico García Leal is a native of the state of Veracruz, born on March 11, 1998. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Monterrey. In 2021 he obtained his degree as a Mechatronics Engineer, with certification in the Innovation Research area. During his studies, he had the opportunity to do a research stay at the MAHI Lab at Rice University, in the city of Houston, Texas. Throughout his stay, he participated in the development of haptic technology, in order to improve the user experience when interacting with virtual reality environments.
He is currently studying for a Master of Science in Engineering at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Guadalajara. He is part of the Biomechatronics laboratory, with Dr. Huegel West as his main advisor.
