Passionate about Science and Technology, Joel Huegel West, research professor at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Guadalajara campus, was selected for a research stay at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for one year.
The researcher works on issues of prosthetics and bionics, and has designed, with his students and graduates of the Guadalajara campus, low-cost prostheses to help the community.
In addition, he is a professor in the Department of Mechatronics and Mechanics and a researcher attached to the School of Engineering and Sciences of the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
